The International Day of Charity - Golf is a "dreaming" of making a difference. Its objective is to assist others to get cleanly "out of the rough" and on the right target-line to reduce the overall "global handicap" which affects us all. One of the key sponsors of this charity is the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) through its Connect the World initiative. Dr Hamadoun Touré, Secretary-General of the ITU, very sensitive to the impact of global/local connections from both the technical and human viewpoints, has agreed to make a personal donation to the IDC-G Charity.
